it is grayed out....so nothing can be put in...

I suspect that you are using either a school or work PC. Is that correct?

Many schools and businesses set up IE to have a home page that you cannot change. If they did that and the homepage is blank, then you won't be able to change it unless you have admin rights to the computer.

If it is your home PC, then I don't know what steps to tell you on how to unlock it. I would try the MSN website.

2. Tools/Internet Options/General/ use current ok
