Unless voters mind set is changed, people not only with "M" but "C" qualifications(Corrupt and criminals) would stand for election. Electorate should be intelligent and bold enough to chose their representative without expecting a reward to do so. Educated and intelligent people with leadership quality should come forward to lead the country otherwise our Parliaments and Assemblies would become show cases for film stars and cricketers.

I do not agree with your premise, Jimmy Carter started from scratch and only had some Money, he attracted the other needs, sometimes the media power was negative. His key was his honesty, when Americans needed that.
