Gandhi's philosophy is under microscope in the present context! Also, it is generally believed he was responsible for the partition coupled with the stubborness of Jawaharlal Nehru to be the Prime Minister! Had he given in to Jinnah, the subcontinent map would be what it was before 1947, possibly with Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Maladives and even Burma becoming part of India by now! And, India could have become a major economic and political power long ago!

Gandhian philosophy is for future not for the past. His sense of humanity is immense. He goes many steps ahead from wildness to the civilised society in his philosophy. He is still relevent and also for the time to came as the ultimate goal of the humanity is the dynamic global peace.
