It's an addiction, that is why he does it. He can't stop until he gets help. Try using a service that keeps him accountable, like Covenant Eyes, or one like it. Porno is huge billion dollar industry. Most people think there is nothing wrong with it, it is hurting and destroying marriages.

Dr phil is a joke on this one. He is the only guy I know that thinks porn is wrong. You sex life probably is great, but its not about you. I love my wife and she is great in the bedroom , but porn is something men like to do . We like to look at variety. It intrigues us to see women we dont know naked. We like to look at a variety, some men may want to look at women of different ethnicities, or some men may want to look at skinny women, fat, thick, small breasts, large breasts, big butt, small butt, its just what we like to do...a variety. You should be happy , porn keeps us from cheating more than you know. IT is normal behavior for men. Trust me, when he isn't looking at porn, when he goes in public and sees a hot chick, he is undressing her with his eyes. Thats what me and my other happily married friends do. Its guy stuff. BY THE WAY women that say its destroying marriages...YOU are the ones destroying it because you make such a big deal out of normal male behavior.

Sit down and read it with him.. maybe it will be a turn on for you .. and if you get into it too much then. maybe he will take a hint and quit..There is nothing wrong with the two of you to be looking at it together as a matter of fact find a few nights that you wont be bothered and rent some porno movies..Maybe he is trying to send some hints your way ..

I read the above posters response and I totally agree.

I dated a guy for a year and it was the same issue. He collected thousands, and I do mean thousands of porn mags. He had a post office box the mags were sent to, and then stashed them in a storage unit in huge plastic containers.

No matter how much I complained, it fell on deaf ears. I suggested counseling and he said he would feel embarrassed. Needless to say, his addiction put an end to our relationship.

Been there ... done that ... I know the pain. Sounds like he may be addicted.

Here's what Dr. Phil believes:

It is not OK behavior. It is a perverse and ridiculous intrusion into your relationship. It is an insult, it is disloyal and it is cheating.

Consider how it makes your partner feel. If it makes your partner feel ugly, hurt, deceived, lied to or inadequate, then it needs to stop. If it is eroding your relationship, it's gone too far.

Pornography isn't real, it's a fantasy. It's makeup, beauty lenses, hair extensions, camera angles, lighting and silicone! It's also somebody's daughter who has taken a really, really wrong turn. She's demeaning herself, debasing herself, humiliating herself and she's being exploited by people who are funded by you. It is a sick, demented, twisted world. It's not healthy, it's not natural and it's not normal.

Viewing Internet pornography or engaging in cybersex is a short step to taking cheating to the next level.

You need to tell your partner that viewing pornography is absolutely, unequivocally unacceptable in your relationship. Draw a line: Your partner needs to choose between the pornography or the relationship.

Ridiculous. get over yourself and try watching it with him. It's just in a magazine or in a movie, if it's not affecting your sex life w/him then who cares?? I mean, seriously, that's super uptight. Maybe he just wants to have fun.
