there's no right or wrong amount of time. it's all about personal preference and self-control. as you age, it will take longer.. when i was a teen, i masturbated 2-3 times a day and comed within a few minutes every time.. as i have gotten older, it often takes 20-30 minutes, even when i want to get it over with fast..
if you are happy with getting it over in one minute, then that's great.. if not, slow things down a bit. don't jerk it so hard or so fast..
also, do it more often. do it twice a day, and your hormones won't be so built up with cravings!

You are getting to horny before you do it. At 19 you should be masturbating at least twice a day not twice a week. Then not so fast slow down and enjoy it awhile.
