Just look on the Internet. Actually just look on Yahoo Answers. . Obviously, people still think the same things they did 60 years ago. Only today, they are afraid to say it in public. But the anonymity of the Internet allows them to express how they truly feel about other races. So why delude ourselves into thinking that racism is dying when it's really alive and well...just hiding?

I agree...racism isn't going anywhere anytime soon. That does not mean that it's acceptable...it just means that there will always be some ignorant person or group of people who have nothing better to do than hate others. I do believe there are many individuals who (unfortunately) fall into certain stereotypes and make it much easier for others to be racist and prejudiced, but at the same time it is unfair to judge a whole race based on the actions of a few people. If more people had this mentality, then maybe there wouldn't be so much hatred and racism. Will it disappear entirely? Not in this lifetime.

Well i think we make much too big a deal of it. If we did not fly into a rage every time the word was used for everything and just treated the racist acts+people as idiots it would help mend itself. But no in America we have to have rallies and marches and parades and TV specials every time something happens that could in any small way be construed as racist.

Forgive any frustration you my sense but I just think celebrating racism is not the way for us to get past it. We should be trying to move on and leave it behind not drag it around with us wherever we go

Is it going away anywhere in the world? I don't think so. Sure,it's moderating but it still is around and in my opinion it always will be here in the foreseeable future.I know America gets the nod for racism against blacks but there is more than enough blame to go around on both sides.

Racisim is increasing. Instead of calling it "hate" they call it "Celebrate Diversity". Well racisim is racisim no mater what you call it.

I've dated every color of woman out there, and enjoyed them all.

However, its their ATTITUDEs thats made me BECOME somewhat racist. I see a guy wearing low cut jeans, a leather "Radiers" jacket, and two sets of underwear- I have to wonder what village is missing its idiot.

Same skin color who keeps s/his hair neat, knows what a belt is, I can't see their underwear, uses correct english and body language, and even knows how to show and give respect? Yeah, I'll hire them- and my best male friend is black.

But when I see the people (as an example) Hurricane Katrina and they move across the country, given a chance to improve their lives,,,and they still act like ignorant hicks waiting for a driveby?

How can you NOT be racist?

Example: A church donates a house- a HOUSE to a family who lost theirs. 2 years pass- the people to whom the house was purchased for never lived in it- then turned around and sold it, while the US Government rebuilt THEIR old house!!

Yeah, things like this makes me racist

heavily if I even ought to describe this one better ******* time, i'm goint to throw the computer that i'm sitting at immediately antagonistic to the wall and then blow my personal damn brains out. Genius, the courses that you talk of were created because of segregation. convinced, we've those awards yet for all of those that you pronounced you've one among equivalent rights. BLACK omit u . s . a .- you've the european attractiveness pagent NAACP-you've the Oscars, the gramys and u . s . a . music awards particular scholarships for minorities-you've irish, italian, polish, british, and german scholarships So whites already have them, yet they're listed less than particular ethnic communities, blacks on the different hand ought to apply "black" b/c compared to whites, maximum blacks don't understand what their acutal ethnic starting place is(except they have a carribean historic previous, or perhaps then their ancestors were from africa, and they don't understand the precise u . s . a . in Africa that they got here from) So no, i do not have self assurance that it really is promoting seperation in any respect. Hispanics and Asians have courses and businesses that cater to the needs and pastime besides, why does no man or woman say something about them?? Why do you ought to unmarried out something that has the note "black" or "african-american" or "n egro" in it? yet to respond to your question, no racism will not in any respect flow away in this existence time b/c some ppl are nonetheless unaware of different cultures and are nonetheless illiberal. It lines again to the days of segregation, and those who grew up in that element(the toddler boomers immediately) instill those values to their little ones and grandchildren, and from there they(the little ones and grandkids) do purely not attempt to study any opposite direction. so see you later as that takes position, we are able to continuously have racism in this u . s . a . and through this international.

I agree with you. However I must admit it does not seem to be as prevalent as it use to be. As long as satan lives, he will always have his followers. The thing that gets me is that some of them do name themselves to be Christians. They are the first ones to church on Sunday and some are up in front of the parishioners teaching and preaching to them. Come on, we all can read. The Holy Bible states that it is impossible to love God whom you have not seen and hate your brother whom you have right here with you. May God Bless U.
