can u have pap smears and std checks done at your local nhs?
or does it have to be a clinic?

well i go to my local GUM clinic to have my checks for STDs.smears i think can be done at the nhd,but even if you have to seee your GP on these probkems do not feel embarrased as doctors see these kind of problems in their every day work.

I have had a smear done at a family planning clinic as well as at the doctors.
Sorry I can't help with the STD check as I have been with my husband since we were 16 and virgins so have never needed to worry about STDs.

Smears at your GPs. STD checks usually a clinic, though if you are showing symptoms that concern you Id go straight to the GP (UK)

you should be able to have that done if you make an appointment at your local surgery with the nurse, or your local gum clinic
