Yankee Candles are my favorite one that you can buy at stores, but I know a few people that make soy candles, the scent lasts for a LONG time, and you don't have to even light the candle to make the room smell good.

The best scented candles are from White Barn Candle Co., it's a subsidiary of Bath and Body Works. Their candles not only scent the whole home, but they are guaranteed to burn down to a 1/4 of an inch. If they don't, simply bring in the candle and they will replace it with the same size and scent! I love their candles and they have a great variety of scents and colors for your every mood and season. (I'm starting to sound like a commercial now)
My favorite scents are apple cider, pumpkin spice, vanilla, black cherry and white rose.
Lighting a few candle scents at the same time gives you a unique and robust scent.

It's not necessarily the scent but the brand of candle you buy. I found some soy candles that are the best. They smell better, last longer and you don't have to be standing over them to smell them. I found them on waxontap.com and they will ship anywhere you are. I love candles and have tried so many that these are the only ones I will buy now. They have a zillion scents to choose from also. I passed this info on to my friends who also love candles and they also agree. Best ever.

I have to agree that soy candles burn the best and they also hold much more scent than traditional candles. You may want to check out the website I listed here. They are not a big company but their candles are great and VERY affordable (unlike Yankee). I used to buy Yankee but I don't anymore.

The absolute BEST candle to buy is a Mia Bella. Soot free. No lead in the wicks. Triple scented. All natural. No Paraffin. Once you try one of these candles, you will never buy another. I also sell them. Any other questions you can email me @

Yankee Candles....it doesn't matter what scent, pick one you like......they are all great and last forever, My favorite? Sugar Cookies.

I buy YANKEE candles.Any of their scents last forever.I usually use the blackcherry but like i said all of their scents last a very long time.They are a bit expensive but well worth it.

Glade candles ( made with essential oils ) those are what I use and they smell wonderful! try Creamy Custard & Blushing Apple or Apple Cinnamon, they are the best!

i like the really strong ones from superdrug, or if you put scented oil on your radiators and light bulbs it makes the whole room smell lovely, specially srawberry smells
