Definitely. I'm in one now, and he's the sweetest guy I've ever known. I think that with time, Americans are becomming less and less sensitive about race issues, I thank the younger generation, the ones who were not corrupted by their parents into thinking that they should "stay within their own race". And it's really nothing new. Many of us today are the result of an interracial relationship thanks to all the inter-mixing of our early American ancestors.

It might! People in general are now getting so use to seeing it displayed on TV and in the movies until I think people don't even care anymore. The only people that have a problem with it is very old school type people, a lot of old school types from the South and a few North. But they might as well blow it out of their @ss and get over it because the new generation isn't allowing color barriers to get between their feelings. Unless the new generation is being raised by white supremest, skin heads or the KKK. And no one today is really to worried about them either.

I think they will. Not because it is a fad, or someother crap like that.
If you look at the population.....interacial relationships are everywhere and as far as I can tell still growing. People fall in love and at that point skin color doesn't matter. I think it's great that so many people can see past tiny little things like skin color....it makes no difference at all.

I believe so. There has been a steady increase since the 70's. Unfurtunatly not enough so in the area I grew up in.
I am white and my eyes and heart has always had a thing for the women of color. When I was a teen my dad almost dropped a load when he saw of all the females on TV I was drooling over Holly Robinson in 21 Jump Street!

Yes, they will continue to rise.
Let us not forget that inter-racial relationships are not limited to Black and White. If we look at it from that perspective, I am sure all the bigots would be shocked at the actual numbers.
Perhaps someone can find a percentile on that.

Interracial relationships are definitely going to continue to grow. Not just black/white relationships, people from every culture are beginning to find that they can love someone who is not from their same culture. The future will consist of no one race, but all mixed races. It will be a beautiful world. I am sure there will be those ignorant who choose to still see something wrong with it, but the majority in the future will be people of mixed backgrounds.

Of course it will - you wouldn't believe it from reading some of your answers or some of the forums on the internet, but as the world gets "smaller" and the average person encounters more people of different cultures and ethnicity, they realise that we are all just people, regardless of the coulour of our skin! I am half-chinese, married to a caucasian and have gorgeous kids, btw!

Ive been dating guys of different races for nearly 7 years now and Im loving it! Its so beautiful to accept differences and its really interesting and enlightening to share diff cultures. For those who are against it, I think they just need to broaden their minds. Its just freaking race and color for goodness sake! We are all the same, we see with our eyes and sniff with our nose. Interacial rships are happening alot now, even my siblings are dating people of diff races. If ya igorant, with a tunnel vision, ya missing out. You can never fully embrace the beauty of life.

Yes, they will rise.
But Warren is right. People are sick of the whining and feelings of entitlement that have run rampant for over 50 years.
White people whine waaay too much.

They always have and always will be. Every since people crossed the great divide and begin the disapora into different regions, there have been interethnic (the correct term) interactions, unions, relationships, and marriages.
