It's not real. Our world is continueing its patern. It will warm up and cool down then we will have an ice age.

Absolutely, check out the evidence such as glacial melting etc. Various websites, such as NOAA, have time lapse pictures. While it is true the earth goes through natural warming and cooling cycles (e.g volcanic dust clouds can cool the earth's surface), far too much evidence has accumulated that human activity (greenhouse gases, especially methane) has hastened the warming process. Even major corporations are changing their tune about it (global warming) being real. It's an established fact one island nation (in the Indian Ocean) has already gone under the waves and a number of pacific islands are next. Those who doubt this is occurring probably also believe our nation's economy is peachy keen and that the "Great Decider" has the Iraq situation well under control.

Awww, the Scientists. The same political Scientists that said we were entering an 'ice age' in the 1970's say we are going to Fry today.

I believe in Global warming; and cooling; it's a natural cycle that modern day Scientists (a few) are exploiting a creating fear because that is where the money is.

Its way colder in CA this year. A contradiction? I think the enviros have taken a giant leap because of all the fuel being burned on earth, therefore there must be global warming from it. Totally ignored is the capacity of the earth to absorb the increased CO2. If CO2 is a possible cause of global warming, the only CO2 that could have an effect would be the CO2 produced from burning above 30,000 ft. That, of course, would be from the jet engines which burn 2-5 tons/hr and produces 3.66 tons of CO2/ ton of fuel burned. Since there is no natural quick way to get rid of this CO2, that seems to me to be the number one possible cause. Of course, that is politically not fair game, as it would require drastic reduction in jet traffic over the earth. It is more desirable for the enviros and their hi-jacked governments to tax earth bound people and charge 'carbon' credits, and establish other onerous taxes.

All legitimate scientific research concludes that humans are contributing significantly to greenhouse gas emissions.

All contradictory studies are put out by think tanks financed by big oil and the auto industry. It was divulged this month that Mobil contributed billions of dollars to think tanks that simply contradicted published data by independent sources such as NASA, NOAA, and NAS.

Natural warming cycles are a fact. The difference here is the speed of the change. Temperature changes such as we have seen in the past 100 years typically take thousands of years.

I've seen first hand the effect on glaciers in Alaska. Globally, nearly every glacier is in retreat. See the link below for some startling pictures.

Global warming is simply speeding up the proses, we are currently in a ice age (because ice aged is defined as the period of time where there is ice by the two poles) so no i don't believe in it.
