Can I talk to Windows Live Messenger contacts from AIM?
I just want to know that before I start downloading the latest AIM version.

No, not from AIM.

However, you can download certain clients such as Trillian that allow you to connect to yahoo messenger, aim, msn messenger, icq, etc all within the same program and have essentially the same buddy list.

Windows Live Messenger uses MSN , I think, so I'm not sure you could converse with someone on AOL/AIM. That's my best shot.

you need to use Skype, Yahoo, GTALK, aim, QQ (chinese language) , etc.... and don't set up that form of Emoticons courses, lots of the circumstances they includes viruses... at the beginning uninstall the Emoticons application and restart your pc and then attempt to sign in to stay Messenger, yet once you nonetheless having the comparable concern after uninstalling the Emoticons application, uninstall and reinstall the stay messenger, then attempt to sign in. and use an excellent anti-virus application like NOD 32. wish that is going to artwork. good success :)

no, but you can using the newest version of YahooMessenger. and you can use the same login that you use here on Yahoo Answers.
