To use a tired, but very true cliche, the only sure things in life are death and taxes (both of which, by the way, are subject to change -- life expectancies get longer all the time, and taxes keep goin up!)

Is it not possible that even change is not an ever present phenomenon.... for instance change can be only when there is space and time dimensions... in a state of timelessness, no change can happen.
