Would reccomend doing a search online, I have a GL1000 and there are TONS of sources for GW informaton.
If you are considering buying a used one, there are some basic service issues such as replacing old timing belts as a broken belt can destroy engine. Carbs are somewhat difficult to service, Will probably need to overhaul suspension on something that old and heavy.

Good luck

Work on these babys is hard unless you are set up to do it and know your stuff so take it to the experts and make sure they know what they are doing before they start as it is a very labor intensive job and an inexperienced mechanic working on one of these can cost you big dollars
