While price changing last night they had priced some barbeque sauce for only a penny. I was excited about this deal so I bought 9 of them. When I bought my orange juice the lady told me that I might get in trouble. Is it possible to get in trouble for something like a pricing error that was the companies fault?

well if it was the companies fault i don't see how you could get in trouble unless you were the one who is supposed to check the prices and fix them

YES. When I was 16 I worked at a retail store and two women came in and changed the prices of a few expensive items. They came through my register and I rung them up for what the tags said because "the customer is always right". I was fired three days later because they said I knew the ladies and I was letting them steal.

Yes, you could get in trouble, as pricing the sauce at one cent is a no-brainer mistake. Just hope nobody does anything about it.

The companies fault can be a blunder of epic proportions. I would eat breakfast if I were you and not worry about Global Warming and such. Also, try ice skating.

I guess all they could do is to ask you to return the product since you do work for the company. If you are just a customer, they can't do anything.

Hey, it wasn't your fault, right? As long as you didn't falsify the prices then you've got nothing to worry about.
