A few times a month I will wake up in trembles, (shaking) and I am not scared out of my sleep nor was I having a nightmare, its just like its taking my muscles a few minutes to get in the hang of things or something, but its kind of freaky to wake up and be shaking all over, does anyone else do this or know what it is?

This same thing happens to me, so I started taking note of what was different when I woke up shaking.
For me, it was that i had not moved during the night and my muscles were getting "Wake Up!" signals from my brain. Before I get out of bed I do some simple stretches and that seems to do the trick.
Remember, I'm just telling you what works for Me. I hope it can help you also!
Good Luck!

When we dream our bodies release a chemical that actually paralyzes us so that we don't hurt ourselves while we are dreaming. (The absence of this chemical creates sleepwalkers) Sounds like you are waking when the chemical is still present and it's taking you a minute to work it off.
