Because Jermaine Jackson never called Jade Goody white trash.
What he said basically was that in America, there are people who refer to people like Jade in that way, for example people who appear on the Jerry Springer show, but that he would NEVER call anyone that.
Jermaine speaks thoughtfully and carefully. The camera's run 24/7 and had he of said like some people think mistakenly -- it would be out there.
Look at You Tube, there are clips of what he said and exactly how he said it.
Rest assured there is no double standard going on.

People in this country have become so afraid if upsetting other races that they go over the top accusing whites of racism but allow other races to abuse us and we just accept it. They must be laughing at our stupidity. World war 3 doesn't start over someone being called "fat" "old" or "stupid" The whole thing has gone too far.

Oh Good Lord. it was ONE comment he made in 25 days and he didn't even specifically make it about any one person, he gave an example.
Compare that with the ranting and raving from the others and that's why no big deal was made of it. I'm white and it didn't offend me.

I think you should put that question forward to E4, it is called double standards. People seem to be able to call white people what they like, but it doesn't go the other way. Racism is Racism if it is a Asian hating a black person, black people hating whites, Chinese hating Indians, its the same.
