A magic eraser will work well and also Mean Green will take it off. Mean Green is a life saver for me. I use it for everything I mean everything. You can get it at dollar general. It is very cheap but very effective I even use it on stains on laundry

Those Mr Clean Erasers work on most of the crayons, otherwise try Goof Off 2. It's safe for finished surfaces. It should take care of the problem without damaging the finishes.

Mr. Clean Erasers work pretty well. But if you have residue left, use a cup of ammonia in a gallon of warm water and wash the whole area well. Ammonia cuts wax. There's also a wonderful product at Home Depot called Krud Kutter that will remove even the most obnoxious marks that kids can leave.

Use Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. I bought them and use them all the time to take marker and pencil off the wall, doors, etc.
It's great!
