I believe that words mean what they mean, and I can't find one good thing about loving someone "to death"? Anyone?
Now if you are married......until death......?

I think it means I'll love them till MY death which is fine. But it does sound strange. I always say I love you to pieces....guess that's weird too.

Yeah, along with. "He's so cute, I just eat him!" Or "I just want to squeeze you to death, you're so cute" If we love something so much, why are we always wanting to hurt it? lol
