Hang on! I thought that the police is supposed to be an independent body that is free to investigate wrongdoings and put forward those who've committed crimes to justice? What gives this guy the right to demand that the police stop doing that just because it's getting too close for comfort for Blair and his cronies?

None whatsoever.! With all the goings on within the New Labour government, the only people damaging the political system are..................New Labour!! I recall Tony Blair on his election win saying, his government was going to be "whiter than white"!! That of course, was the joke of the century!!!!!!!

While I was in the AF, they implemented that program to a degree. We had guys from USProtect guarding the gates, while regular USAF Security Forces still did the L.E. From what I could tell, the guards did a good job, and were well manned. I'm all for free'ing up fresh troops to go down range. As long as these guys their putting at the USMC bases are qualified, and the job is getting done, I'm all for it. I do, however think they should keep some MP presence, as a Quick Reaction Force, for added security, because naturally, they'll probably give the civ's glocks or an M-9.

He has no rights. The police have jurisdiction and everyone else should step aside but can preserve their personal rights as always.

If that MP has nothing to hide, he shouldn't mind the investigation.
