It is because so many blonde women on TV and in the movies make a lot of money portraying themselves as stupid, and the people who watch these shows think it is real, they have a hard time separating something fake from reality. It is a little sad, yes I am a natural blonde and no one has ever thought I was stupid. Once in a while I will come across one of those ignorant people and I have to prove it to them and it is very satisfying! I do find it confusing when women think that blondes are stupid and then they dye their hair blonde-what kind of message are they trying to send?

I have to say being a natural blond all my life it is really hard to push past that stereotype.. A lot of my friends have dyed their hair blonde just so they can live up to the "dumb blonde" persona. I personally am offended when a person automatically assumes that I am an idiot because of my hair color. I am actually very educated and rather smart. I have tried my whole life to become educated so that I can prove to people that not all blondes are dumb. I was born with this hair color and that does not mean I was born with a small brain. Sorry for the rant but I just hate it when people assume I am stupid.. I have held a 4.0 throughout all of college at USD as well as graduated from a private college preparatory school.

Men do not think blondes are stupid. In fact, a great many men find blonde women more attractive than those with other hair colours.
Of course, men also are born blonde, and women also find them attractive. I was born blonde, fell in love with a blonde woman, have four kids, all blonde, and all qualified for Mensa.

Because theyre stupid. Blondes arent any stupider than any other woman in the world. Some blondes want to live up to that title though and make themselves look dumb just for the attention which lets everyone assume that its true that blondes really are stupid. Well, we arent!

blonds do not need to attract so much with their wits, so in time these deteriorate. and men like to think that the blonds they meet are stupid, and sexy, and therefore easy, or so we men wish.

it really isn't just guys. But it goes way back to the steryotype. alot of them(blondes) do it because they thin that they can get away with stuff and think it's cute. But i say when is it cute to be stupid?.
