My old computer had been giving problem.i want to build a new pc for gaming and multitasking purpose all in one.i'm wondering which is better either amd or pentium d.plz give some guidance and a good requirent for a pc.

i would say go to newegg.com and get an acer laptop if you want a laptop they ahve the best bang for a buck
what you should get at least is a 1.8GHZ processer and 1GB RAM(memory) and a decent video card......thats all you should really get but i reccomend a DVD+-RW drive

No you do not. For a third the price you can customize a computer on HP or Dell. The days of building your own are over.

im an intel fan, but AMD has had the better chip when it comes to gaming, UNTILL intels duo core 2.....
