Three things determine the price someone will charge for a product - they all begin with a "C"
1. Costs - generally a product is sold for more than it costs (but not always)
2. Competition - what do other suppliers in my area sell the same product for?
3. Customer - what will the customer pay me for this product ( maybe because I am Marks and Spencer type of quality)
The price someone charges for their product /service will always be a composite of these three considerations
You will pay more for your teabags in M&S than you will in Tesco and yet they will be made by the same manufacturer

Depends on what you mean by stores. If its the same chain of stores but in different areas, the people setting the price are attuned to what the market will bear in that locale. If its two competing stores in the same area, its competitve pricing.

when stores buy something they don't have the same way of calculating their margin they choose to take more or less....sometimes they have a "recommended " price and that all!

that would depend on the type of area.if one area is cheaper than another or there is more competition from other companies.other things come into play like delivery costs, rents and rates, staffing etc.
