I have gas central heating but no gas point at cooker area can this be done and at what cost? how easy is it to be done as my property is rented?

Your landlord may help with the cost of the pipework but dont count on it.
You will need a Corgi registered installer to carry out the work and certify its safety.
DO NOT try to do this yourself.

Can't say exactly how far the gas cooker would be from the nearest Gas pipe. If it is not too far from the gas boiler , then a feed for the cooker can be taken from the boiler gas pipe.

Cost would depend on where the gas pipe is that feeds the boiler compared to where you want the cooker point

You can get the fittings you need from B&Q. You'll need copper pipe & decent plumbing skills. Also, pretty sure that you need to be corgi registered to do this & probably wise to check with landlord too.

If its a days work, a Corgi plumber would probably charge £150 - £200 + materials.

yes it can be done the cost depends on how difficult to run pipe work. you must use a corgi registered gas fitter its the law

THERE SHOULD BE AN OUTLET AT THE METER JUST FOR THIS PURPOSE... RUN A LONG COPPER LINE UNDER GROUND TO YOUR COOKER!
