So many stories I've read about gay and bi men getting beaten to death. The main reason is because those that are doing the beating are fighting an inner battle within themselves about their sexuality. I would go to your friend, tell him of the situation, ask him to be on his guard at all times, being with friends rather than alone might protect him from harm but realistically no one can be with another 24/7. I feel for your friend and wish him the best of luck. Short of moving away (running away) I don't think anything can protect him if those rumors turn out to be true

If he is your friend then stick up for him. Bashers will come and go, that's just life. Even if he were bi, which you say he is not. It is none of their business. It is good that he has a friend like you. Try not to worry. Bullies are usually all mouth. Alert an adult to help squash the rumors or at least intervene for his safety. Good Luck!

You need to tell someone about it right away before somebody gets hurt even though it's just a rumor. I don't want to see a person getting beat up or getting hurt just because of his/her sexual orientation. Hope you will be able to work it out.

uhhh...just stay with your friend as much as you can. I am a little confused about the question BUT if I got you right...your friend should get a girlfriend so people will shut up. They shouldnt be involved anyway so what if he is?? Just tell him to go out in public with some girls...go on dates...than maybe people will realize he is not and they will shut up!!

If there are serious threats against your friend, you need to get adults involved, like a teacher or parent. If it's simply rumors and people running their mouths (which happens often), just ignore it. Bullies love knowing they are hurting others; if you & your friend seem unaffected by their taunts, it will stop being fun & they'll find someone else to bother.

well, fist and fore most,. not asking him to change himself, but treat himself as a human. noone will ever respect you if you never give respect to yourself. second, judged as bi or not, he's HUMAN for godsake... he has rights... rights to defend, rights to speak out and rights he has to fight for himself..
