Your age does not matter. If your in love with someone and are ready for marriage then it shouldn't matter what others think. Your even 37 meaning your man is 34 and you all are at an age that no one should even care. I really don't think anyone would say anything and wouldn't care. So marry the man and have a happy life with no worries.

Wow to me 3 years is nothing. The Hindu religion must be very strict when it comes to marriage. You are both from the same generation and you probably look the same age I can't believe 3 years is an issue. Look at it this way if you do not bring up he fact that he is 3 years younger than you, who will notice, and if they still disapprove after seeing what a great couple you are tell them they are putting societies views over real love.

When v consider a boy and girl of a same age, the intelligent-quotient, cleverness, mental development of the girl is found to be two to five times greater than that of the boy. That's why our forefathers had the habit of marrying a woman who was younger than the man by two to seven years. Then only the husband can stand the level of the intelligence of his wife and the both can co-operate to lead a happy life.
Now-a days boys are also intelligent.
If there exist a true love between you two, try to explain the matter to your parents.Sit and discuss.Don't hesitate.
Wish you a happy married, prosperous life.

Don't bother about the society, if you both feel that you will live happily then simply do it.

Society knows only one thing - to talk bad at the back of us; and to feel jealous when we are happy.

Why you both get married and prove to your family that love is the only concern and not age for marriage?

But, before getting married it is better if you and your man sit down and discuss about this. Make sure that you about will forget about this age problem. There should not be any mis understandings between you both on this.

All the best for your marriage!

I guess it all depends on where you live. For the most part, this day in age.....society will accept the age difference if you and your partner accept it.
I know two couples living here in US (with 3 & 5 years difference, woman being older) and have a healthy and happy marriage.

This is something unusual. Are sure both of you in real love? Is this a case of infatuation?

There will be hiccups in the beginning and then slowly the society will accept the situation. There could be snide remarks now and then and you should have will power to take these on your strides.

3 years is nothing. You are in the same age group so I don't see what the problem is. My wife is 15 yrs older than me and what society thinks doesn't really matter to me. What we have is real and special and that's enough for me.
