Generally, when blood is drawn, the arm is not restrained (such as in strapping down). When blood is drawn on someone who is fighting or a small child, their arms are held by another nurse/tech/etc. to keep the needle from going to deep or to avoid a second needle stick. If anything they'd strap down your wrist. Your best bet is just to have the tourniquet placed on the upper arm (bicep area) and just hold still.. Please hold still. They'll draw your blood, take the tourniquet off and put a bandage on the site. Good luck.

Your arm will be strapped down (depending on where they are going to stick you) either at the shoulder or at the elbow then one will be put on your wrist to keep any movement from happening.
I know this because I go through the same thing every month to
control my seizure medicine.

the person searches for a vein,pumps it with one finger and put a rubber band around the area. then they put alchol to clean the area and draw the blood.

Well since the electric chairs aren't operational in jails anymore, they were sold surplus to the medical facilities. Don't worry, they don't have any power to them any more. ;o)
