i am 38 weeks pregnant the babys head is engaged how much longer will it be until my baby is born and is there anythink i can do to hurry it up without harming my baby

To be honest nobody can tell you how long it is going to be before baby is born...my guess anywhere in the next 2-4 weeks. Just because baby's head is engaged doesn't necessarily mean anything. My babies all had their heads "engaged" at 32 weeks and the earliest I had any of them was at 38 weeks. Your baby will come when ready to come...I know the last few weeks are definatley miserable but it will be done and over with before you know it.

hi, like you I am playing the waiting game. I'm 37 weeks and my baby is engaged and has been for about 2 weeks. Nothing will definitely work to bring bubs along quicker it will come when its good and ready unfortunately for us uncomfortable ones, but you could try drinking raspberry leaf tea. M y friend was told to try it and within a week her daughter was here and that was 3 weeks early. Just try and remember its all worth it. Good luck!

unfortunetly there really is no sure way to do it.ive been 3 cm for 2 weeks now and in alot of pain.i sleep for about 30 min at a time and it sucks!my doc is going to induce me on sat!try walking if its possible i heard that can help but it might not!good luck!

It will come when it is ready. I would not worry about trying anything. Maybe talk to your dr and they can induce.
