They can't. He hasn't lied. Not about the War in Iraq.

I do tend to believe that they believe what they say though. It seems as if they read it in print and it is coming from one of their fellow accusers it must be true. It has to be. To admit otherwise or to actually research for themselves would go against what they want to be true. They want Bush to be a liar. They want the mission in Iraq to fail. They want to make the accusation that we went into Iraq for oil EVEN THOUGH there is not one HINT of truth to the claim and common sense tells EVERYONE that it couldn't be further from the truth.

Lying means nothing to them. It is a means to an end. Personal integrity be damned. It is easy to spout their untruths while sitting comfy behind computer monitors where they can hide their identity from society.

They are as guilty for the innocent deaths in Iraq as the ones pulling the triggers and setting off the bombs. They enable the insurgency and whether they realize it or not they are promoting the violence to continue. After all, if they can continue to attempt to undermine the present Administration right here at home. Why shouldn't the terrorists and the insurgents do their part over in the MiddleEast. They are what I would refer to as "user friendly" by those who want to see the United States destroyed.

Because we all "know" that he lied about WMD. Except that he didn't, but that's besides the point. He should have not listened to his intelligence agencies, nor the British, French, Russian agencies or the UN when they told him that Saddam likely was still building and stockpiling WMD. For listening to the experts - say like Valerie Plame perhaps? he's called a liar. Interesting use of the word, no?

Also, one never sees facts, proof or evidence accompany the claim that Bush lied. I've yet to see any definitive evidence or proof that Bush has lied. One would suppose that someone who has continuously lied for 6 years would have generated a huge list of verified and proven lies, yet that list does not exist. Why not? Could it be because *gasp* Bush hasn't in fact lied?

The saddest part is that people just believe such things as "Bush lied" without even caring about the truth. These baseless assumptions by people are not indicative of a well-informed electorate, which does not bode well for our country.

Because "Bush lied" sounds so much better than "Bush acted on faulty intel that the whole world possessed and believed to be true."

If these people want to discuss what a real lie is, we will first have to determine the definition of the word "is".

I'll tell you one lie - twice in the oath of office Bush promised to perserve, protect & defend the constitution..... Article 4, Section 4 of the constitution says in part the federal government will protect the states from invasion.....Twenty MILLION illegals in our country proves that lie

In May 2006 Bush said the first thing we must do is secure our borders...well, we all know that hasn't been done either....

What other lies would you like me to tell you about?
