You can't. You are legally emancipated at the age of 18. If you're 34 years old and you have parent issues, you need to act like a 34 year old and address them.

The only thing that's kinda weird is that you wouldn't simply explain to your parents that you do not intend on marrying and that you prefer to keep all details of your relationships with women private. If you let them know that's where you stand in life and that you don't see it changing, maybe, just maybe they would come around to respecting those wishes and not press you on explaining things about women you are seeing to them? I think it would make more sense to try this approach rather than having to keep hearing them ask you about things you don't want to and never plan on answering. Also-are you taking the above approach with the women you are seeing at all? I get the feeling you are not. Let me tell you that, as a woman, I would be offended if I found out I was dating someone who knew for a long period of time that our "relationship would end sooner or later". If that's the case, why are you dating these women? Hopefully you are being honest with them at the appropriate point and letting them know there are no hopes for anything long term. It's a crazy world and karma is real: meaning, you could very well end up being in the position of wanting something more with a woman one day, and it not working out.

Well I think at 34 you are able by law to decide whether you wish to have a relationship with a parent or not.....I think once you turn 18 its your choice.....so move don't tell them....change your phone number....shut them out of your life....you don't need a lawyer for that .....you didn't state the issues your having....maybe you can talk to them adult to adult....maybe you do need to just go to the extreme of shutting them out of your life......only you know the answer to that one......but your free to choose.....your already divorced....

I don't know what the issues are with you and your parents, but you could try reading the book "Toxic Parents". It's a great book of how to deal with your parents as an adult and so on......
