It seems like everyone seems to enjoy dropping the race-card whenever convenient, or just to get a reaction, or as a means of getting attention. And the media isn't helping because controversy and ugliness sells. What really sucks is that people who have ever truly been on the receiving end of racist or discriminatory actions are the ones who DON'T treat racism lightly. People need to stop being ignorant and wake up.
