hi i have an IBM think centre computer, is there any parts that i can transfer to my main pc, any other help with the think centre would be appriciated as i know nothing of what to do with it..... was given it by a mate.
Technical info: MT-M 8183-PMG
S/N KDFKG1F
Windows xp, pentium 4.

can someone explain in laymans terms what you are saying! i have no idea what you are talking about?? i have the think centre but don't know what to do with it....help.

Think Centre is Desktop series, then why've u posted this q in Notebook section. Well, that not matters.
U can interchange everything, which ur main system supports, from RAM, HDD, Drives, Floppy, GPU(if it has) even processor if ur pc's motherboard supports.
Well it depends on u, what u want to change? just make sure first replace non-critical parts that not lead to damage to HDD. Just High secure ur Hard Disk and RAM modules.
NOTE:: After every 10-15 min touch ur toe with earth for a few seconds(anti static formula)

u can connect it in LAN with ur PC, for this u need a cross LAN cable, and lan card in ur laptop as well as PC
