There is nothing whatsoever wrong with being in love with someone and sharing your life with them. The fact that both people are either male or female doesn't matter.

You are right. There is nothing wrong with homosexuality. Scientists are proving that it is a genetic trait and have found many species of animals to be homosexual as well. If people read the Bible with an open mind and really tried to decifer what is being said, they would realize that homosexuality is not what the Bible is denouncing. The people that are associated with homosexuality in the Bible committed many other sinful acts that had nothing to do with being gay. People are so blinded by bigotry that they have misinterpreted the passages. These Christians need to remember what the Bible is really teaching. We should be loving our neighbor, not criticizing and hating.

Well, although I loath to say this, homophobes do have the right to speak. Free speech is essential for a free society to exist.
Please do not misunderstand me, I, as a gay man know where you are coming from, but the best way to fight these people is to let spout off.
I would much rather see and hear the enemy than have him cloaked in a false guise of tolerance.
Truth is on our side, never forget that.

I am Christian, but also a free-thinking one. I read everything and think we are all here for the purpose of spiritual growth and you must use what works best for you. Judging a persons physical appearance, color, personality or sexual preferences by spiritual "laws" doesn't seem quite realistic to me as we are all one in Spirit and one does not choose ones physical attributes, genes or such. That doesn't make one bad or an outcast to me-just different from me- but then,I am to them! I care if you are a jerk or not-if you try to push your political, spiritual or sexual beliefs on me instead of just being a human-I guess lead by example and be a true and good person and continue to grow, inside and out and your fulfilling my thought on our role here on earth---Course I certainly don't have the Catholic Church and its politics controlling me.....like many other big religions. Be Well-

i'm gay and i kno a lot about the bible. all i kno is that being gay is supposed 2 be an abomination, but no one has the right 2 judge us about it except 4 god. the bible might say it's not right, but it definitely says that the only one who can judge that is the big man himself.

We are all humans, no matter what sexual orientation... we are each individually unique in our own ways. We do not have to tolerate any homophobic statements. Might as well ignore them.

I have no problem if people choose to live a Catholic lifestyle, but I do have a huge problem with those who try to shove their Catholicism down my throat.
