Liberals are modern society, along with homosexuals. It's the repressed uneducated conservatives who are trying to thrust their lifestyle down the throats of normal people and we're not going to take it anymore.

Faulty logic! Modern society, in essence, tolerates homosexuality. It would be an older version of society which does not.
A homosexual relationship cannot bear children biologically. But it can bear children by other processes. As a technicality, therefore, your logic on the last statement is also faulty.
But to get to what you probably meant: Liberals embrace homosexuality while conservaties do not. At this moment in time there is a greater percentage of conservatives IN AMERICA. The rest of the world is evolving much more rapidly in a cultural context, and making homosexuality pretty acceptable. So there are plenty of holes to your question, since you didn't really specify if you were talking about only America (in which you would be right) or the rest of the world (in which you would be incorrect).
I'm just helping you out. You're going to get a lot of bashing with a question like that.

Erm, a modern society does tolerate (and, moreover, accept) homosexuality. The European Convention on Human Rights, which applies to the vast majority of countries in Europe, protects homosexuals from unjustified discrimination on the ground that they are gay. On 16 February 2006, the United Kingdom Parliament - the representatives of society - passed the Equality Act 2006, making provision for regulations to be made prohibiting discrimination on grounds of sexuality. There is some dispute as to the exact extent of those regulations, but there is no doubt that they will take force in some form. Regulations prohibiting discrimination against homosexuals in employment have been in force since 2003, anyway. Civil partnerships are permitted and now common, and reported in the newpapers and magazines.
It is backward societies - and backward elements of modern societies, at whom these laws are aimed - who cannot tolerate homosexuality.

What modern society are you living in? Much of society does accept homosexuality. Give me one good reason why two individuals in a loving and committed relationship shouldn't be aloud to raise children? I mean a good reason. Don't tell me that it is abnormal, because it isn't. Scientists are finding that homosexuality is a genetic trait and have found many species of animals to be homosexual as well. The only thing that makes it difficult for homosexuals to raise children in our society is the bigots who are so ignorant and closeminded that they cannot accept that there is nothing wrong with it.

I'm 53 and have been through menopause, if I get married to a man, it won't be for reproduction either. Been there, done that.
So if marriage is only for reproduction, why go through all that trouble with pretending that its for companionship, love, sex and security? Why not just simply breed, and then everyone can get married for the real reasons.
Hitler believed he was creating a modern society. He killed anyone he didn't think fit his vision of a modern society. Is that what you are suggesting? That anyone who doesn't fit your definition of a modern society should just be eliminated?
Modern society is what we are living in right now, hon, and it does embrace GLBT and the diversity of society at large. Time to pack up the saber tooth tiger rugs and come on out of the cave.

Interesting statement. You believe being gay is wrong and you don't like them.
Fair enough.
But dare I ask why you assume only liberals accept gays? It may interest you to know, since clearly you don't, that there are many conservative gays out there. The problem with you is that you think you know what a conservative is. Allow me to educate you. Being conservative is a political state just as being liberal is. The problem you are making is confusing political views of government with social mores. True there are social conservatives but most political conservatives tend to believe in the rights of the individual not the collective, which is who you tend to side with.
A true conservative believes in smaller government, less taxes etc. A liberal tends to believe in more government, social programs etc. Neither one however believes in the usurping of individual rights, at least as a rule.
So the question is not Why can't liberals accept that a modern society does not tolerate homosexuality? it why do social conservatives not accept the rights of the individual to live there lives as free citizen with the right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Hapiness. It is true, you probably think gays have all three rights, but they don't. Do they have the right to life? yes Liberty? yes....but are they allowed to Pursue Happiness? NO. People like you, who have nothing to do with gays anyway, won't let them.
Please think upon this, if you can, then ask whether you believe in the US constitutions ideals or not.

It's not that modern society wouldn't tolerate homosexuality, like you wrote...The fact is simple: nobody really cares , except puritans and old ladies in churches, that always have something to talk about ...Relationships in general are usually less than ideal, won't you agree to that ? It is crucial therefore, that people who intend to live together have mutual understanding...It isn't relevant, the way I see it, if you are gay or strait, it is of crucial importance, that you have good relationship, the one that satisfies you and you partner, or better don't have relationship at all...as for the liberals, who are they ?! Ain't we all the same; you, who maybe believe in god, or me, who don't ...One should simple act as he ( she ) feels and not be bothered by lewd talking of others...Just be proud of what you are and screw the society !

Hmm, I guess the Lesbian couple I know, who just had their third child, really didn't have kids. Someone should tell them.
A Lesbian friend of mine asked me about being a sperm donor for her child. Unfortunately, I had to tell her I had a vasectomy after my last child.
Homosexuals do have children. Either naturally or adopted.
Considering the rate of change in society's acceptance of homosexuality, I expect you'll be like the old racists of the south, left behind by society to live in the past.

Maybe that's natures propose for homosexuality. There are plenty of other ways that people can contribute to society without having children. Besides some people in heterosexual relationship choose not to have children does that mean that they aren't contributing to society. Should heterosexual people who don't have children not be tolerated in this world?

Speak for your self kid, I am a conservative, a Catholic, life long republican and damn proud of it! And I have absolutely no compulsions against Homosexuality.
My Family is also life long Republican (Well my mom voted for carter once but that's only because she felt bad that he was losing) and are a military family for generations back and no one in my family has a single problem with Homosexuality.
I think you will find that yes most people are not necessarily comfortable with people who are Gay, but society in general really could care less what happens in the bedroom.
The problem with people and comments like yours is you take your nonsense to be fact when in reality you are simply giving a bad name to rational thinking republicans and moderates.
You are almost as bad as the far left, but you are probably to biased to see that.
I really hope you grow up some day kid and see the world though less biased and more accepting and tolerant eyes. you might just realize the world is a damn fine place and full of damn fine people.
