I wish I knew a way to get songs out of my head! Last week I had one of Nelly Furtado's songs stuck in my head for at least 3 days straight! Ugh!

I am not sure. Hard to do. I have tried. Especially those crazy jingles from commercials. The other day, we watched CARS with my nephew and that song, "Life is a Highway" is part of the soundtrack and I couldn't get it out of my head for 2 DAYS! So annoying!!!

It's tough. Be careful what you put into your head. If you put filth into your head, you're full of filth. If you put sex and lust into your head, you're full of sex and lust. If you put stupid nonsense into your head, your full of that too.

Music has a very powerful way of training peoples minds. When I was in school I knew the words of almost every song on the radio, but I couldn't remember what I read in a text book. Music is very powerful - be aware of what you're putting into your head and you won't have to worry about getting it out.

Sing it out loud, that will transfer the song into someone else's head. It's been scientifically proven.

Not sure that it is actually possible as one song just seems to replace the previous. If a song is annoying me, I'll sing it, then consciously replace it with another, singing that one aloud as well.

You will think I am nuts but this works for me. I either play it over my stereo on repeat until I can't take it anymore or I sing it to myself (in the shower maybe) until I hate the damn thing!! I know it doesn't sound right, but then I forget it just as soon as I am tired of hearing it!! Good Luck!! @8-)
