Hinder's version. I personally think the original is always better

I definitely like Hinder's version better- a lot more intensity and feeling in it- I love country music, but just can't get into Jack Ingram's version even though I'll listen to it if it's on the radio. For a minute, I wondered if Jack Ingram's version was the original b/c I saw somewhere that his album title was Lips of an Angel too, but I think it was a mistake.

A lot of Country singers like Jack Ingram take pop/rock music and try and make it their own. This happens a lot more than you realize. Jack definitely had a "miss" with his version of "Lips Of An Angel." Hinders version is the best.

I haven't heard Jack Ingram's, but it hurts me deeply that there is another version out there... I personally love Hinder, and they will always be the best version out there, because they did it first, and they did it the way it was meant to be done!

Actually I listen to both versions. It depends if I am listening to country or Vh1 at the moment. I think that there is two versions of the song for the different listeners out there, country or pop listeners or listeners of both styles..
