system recovery problem?

I had to do a system recovery on my computer the other day and everything seems to be working fine except for my computer backgrounds on the web. Like for instance when I go to yahoo or myspace you know where you can see everyone's background picture? all I have is just all the words and that's it. I can even see peoples pictures just fine. However no backgrounds. There is definitely something missing from my computer. I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me out. Thank you so much for your time.

If it only happens on the Internet it will probably sort it's self out soon. Your PC possibly just needs to update your connection information etc...
