Part of becoming a successful person in any career is learning your own ways to deal with difficult personalities and characters. You may choose to ignore their peculiar behavior or address it with them personally. Either way, be professional and polite about it. Never get involved in "water cooler" chat about that person either. Use this as an opportunity to explore different manager styles. A good manager will be able to take most people's oddities and adapt them for a positive result. If you try to do the same, and are successful, then next time you might be the manager.

my son works with 2 weirdo's..
completely different people..
one he calls "the preacher"..(very religious)
the other "cable guy" (remember Jim Carrey movie "cable guy")
describes these guys to an exact character..

the worst is working with "cable guy".........
he told the guy off........and of course "cable guy" wrote him up to management.......in the management interview.......my son did okey.........
so be prepared........
everyone in a workplace is teamed with a weirdo........
could be worse.....................
I would not want to work with "cable guy"........
