You need to get a better veterinarian. Rabbits aren't good animals to feed pills to. The only type of pill I've ever seen them eat good is papaya tablets. You might try coating it in something sticky like syrup then dipping it in salt. Rabbits like the taste of salt. Or maybe covering it in yogurt and letting the yogurt dry on it. But even those may not stand a good chance of working.

I recommend going to your vet and seeing if he has an injectable antibiotic that you can use that can be be given by a subcutaneous injection. Then have him show you how to give a subcutaneous injection to your rabbit. It's pretty easy, lift the rabbit's hide up behind their neck then insert the needle right below skin and inject the medicine. Rub the rabbit's skin in that area to make sure it has gone in and does not seep back out.

Pills are for cats and dogs, not rabbits. Your vet probably didn't want you to have to try giving an injection to your rabbit. But giving an injection to a rabbit is much easier than trying to get them to eat a pill.

To be honest, I've never heard of a vet giving a rabbit pills for antibiotics. Something definitely seems wrong.

If you can't find something he will like to eat that you can crush it into than you'll have to hold open his mouth and pop the pill down his throat, like sometimes you have to do with a dog. Maybe get someone to help you while you keep his mouth open they can throw the pill down his throat.

What kind of antibiotics? Rabbits aren't supposed to take amoxicillion it will kill them. Has your vet worked with rabbits before? He should given something like Baytril which is a liquid. I suggest you take your rabbit to another vet asap. You can find good ones here at http://www.rabbit.org
