"Everlasting Love" is a song first made famous by Love Affair, an English pop group. It was written by Buzz Cason and Mac Gayden and first recorded by Robert Knight, whose minor success with the song in 1967 was eclipsed when Love Affair's version topped the UK singles chart in 1968.
Versions by Carl Carlton (1974), Gloria Estefan (1994), Rex Smith & Rachel Sweet (1981) and on a B-side by U2.

there was a cover of the robert knight original in the 80s by rachel sweet and also by sandra, but there was a totally different song with the same title by howard jones.

Everlasting Love was sung by 'LOVE AFFAIR', Great Band. However I did see a band named 'QMARK' that covered this and they were absolutely Brilliant, such a shame that they didn't get the chance to show their talents.
