No, love has nothing to do with religion or country. My husband is Muslim and from Morocco. I am non-practicing Christian and American. We are very happy and very much in love. We currently live in Morocco and though it is very different for me, we are doing fine. As far as having children... I knew when I married him that any furute children would have to be raised as Muslims and I accepted that. It's all about respect and compromise, like any other marraige.

Maturity and respect. Most religions teach tolerance but the followers do not practice it. If two people are truly in love, they should be able to come to an understanding about how they are going to raise their children and how they are going to each have their own beliefs but accept the beliefs of their partner.
Just because two people are together it doesn't mean they have to become the same person. They can learn from each other and become all-around better people.

Being a Christian (follower of the word of God) the woman is to take on the belief/tradition of the man and or course the children follow the parents. But the scripture tells us not to become unequally yoked (joined w/someone of a different belief/customes) just for the concerns other people responsonded about.

My wife and I are different religions. We just work through our differences in opinion. We have two kids and the only way to deal with that is have the way that you are going to raise the kids out of the way before you marry. Wasn't much of a problem for us, but there were a few rocky days. Just be honest and don't just agree unless you do agree. Hold your ground, but be practical.

I believe that the location where we go to is contolling our love situation from better or worst. Religion is never a factor towards love unless you are a critic. Love conquers but it cannot be complete unless you are in a suitable location. I hope you inderstand my theory? Hope this helps? Later....

If they marry, they will be miserable as one will want to follow one religion, and the other will want to follow a different religion. Then their kids will be all screwed up, not knowing which religion to follow. What a nightmare.
