The mails seem in more or less random order; a new message usually arrives somewhere in the middle, so is hard to find.
I can find no relevant help button that deals with this issue
It isn't yahoo! BTW

give us a clue then, what email program is it??

normal proceedure is to click the date header and that will sort the mail in date order.

outlook can be trickier and can be accessed by the view, arrange by menu...

If you have a 'date' column, saying when the message was received try clicking on the actual column header (saying 'date' or similar). This should sort them into either ascending or descending order; sometimes there will be a little up or down arrow to indicate this, on the header. You should be able to click it again, and it will flip the order (from ascending to descending).

Have a look at the emails - they must be in some order: is it alphabetically by sender, or by subject?

It's quite difficult to know how to do this without knowing your email program. If it is a program such as Lotus or Outlook, search the help menu with a term such as 'sorting email'. If it is a web-based email provider, you could go to their homepage, navigate to their help or troubleshoot page, and see if this has any options for you to be able to 'sort' your emails.

Hope this is of some help to you.

All the best,
Purslane

you will have your messages sorted by a different method... depending on what you are using will depend on how you correct this so that they are in date order.

generally at the very to you have headings such as Date, Sender, Subject, etc.
if you click on the Date at the top it should sort them by date order, this can either be oldest to newest or newest to oldest. just click it once and check that the new emails are at the top if not click it again and that sould be it...

hope it helps, but without knowing which provider or software e.g. outlook your using its the best advice i can give...

good luck!

when you go to your inbox, right click on the 'received' bar and it will offer you options on how you want your mail sorted - pick the 'by date' option and it will arrange the mail in order.

If you left click the same place, it'll arrange them in order most recently received, if you click again, it'll reverse the order.

where the dte column is if you click on the date heading it should bring up eiother a choice of how to display, of should change it, either keep clicking till you gt the desired arrangment, or choose it if there is a drop down menu.

Assuming you are using Microsoft outlook, go to "View", the "Current view", and click "Sent to" this seems to arrange it in date order
