I refer to a man who is unloving towards his wife and needs to be shown that she requires all the love in the world to make her happy!

No not at all... In fact i feel that if we treat and respect our husbands and be the wife that we know God would want us to be for them that our husbands would see this and they would treat us better and want to change because they see a positive change in us:)

I am not sure I understand the question, but this is what I think you are asking. You should attempt to get him to change whatever behavior is bothering with respect, like oyu would treat any other person. But, if he is not resoponding to respcetful requests, you may have to forget about being respectful and just get to the point.

what do you want him to change? You should never try to change a person. This could lead to resentment.
