I had an abrtion after my second child was born although I do regret it sometimes, I know that at the time we couldn't afford a 3rd child and the strain probably would have been to much. Remember it's you who will have to care for the child. Dont be influenced by other peoples views.

I think that it's all up to you. Someone I know is currently pregnant with her fourth and was considering abortion. However, since her husband wants the child (he thinks it will FINALLY be a boy) she's decided to keep it. I have mixed feelings, since they are not financially well off. Also, she hasn't proven to be such a good mother (she always yells at her daughters, drinks to excess, and does drugs on occasion) or wife and I feel sorry for the future child, as well as her current children. She already has to deprive her current daughters of so much (sometimes she claims not to have money for a birthday cake, yet she can buy drugs...) and it'll be a shame that now a 4th will be deprived of so much more. I think if you think carefully about this, and come to the conclusion that it's for the best, then perhaps it is. But don't treat it as a back up form of birth control.

I had a condom fail after my first two children were born....I had a 'chemical' or 'medical' abortion, which is not hard on the body...i was back to work the next day. No I dont regret it, I have two children and I know what energy it takes to sustain a pregnancy and care for a baby/young child/older child....I wasnt ready for it. I still do not regret it. You cant let anyone influence your decision about this...only you can decide. Good Luck.
