You will not get paid your full wage no. I got paid 90% for so long then it dropped right down to £100 per month for so long. I am in England and I know somethings vary here, but if you have a HR department they will talk you through it.

Or a benifits councilor. There is a magazine that isproduced two or three times a year that has information on what you are intitled to. I think it's just called I'm Pregnant but is only available here from WHSmiths and larger newsagents.

Good Luck and congratulations.

It really depends on the company you work for. Some of them choose to compensate employees on maternity leave but they do not have to. Most do not continue to pay you your salary. You can use any available vacation or sick time to try to cover the time you are out. Maternity leave usually just means you are out on leave and the company will hold your position for you until you return.

There may be some state variances so I would check with your state and with your HR department for your company's policies.

Here in the states you only get a 12 week leave (3 months) and you have to use your saved time up to get payed, once it runs out then you don't get any money until you return back to work.

You need to contact the Human Resources department of your company for clarification. Each company, although following laws and standards, has their own specific way of dealing with maternity leave.

Hi Baby,

Congrats!!

it depends upon the policy of the organization you work for. Usually Organizations give three months off with pay.

Thanks

You won't get paid for your maternity leave unless you have lots and lots of sick time you can cash in.

Maternity leave just gives you the right to be out of work for however long and be able to come back to your job at the same pay, same position, same seniority.
