You need to go to a store that only sells jeans,tell the salesperson this is your first pair and that you need help.Then look in the mirror from all angles even take a pocket mirror with you for a rear view.Jeans are not cheap so shop around till you find the right store with best staff.

size is never a problem, the shop people would help you out with that. But the thing you need to decide on is the color and the kind (style) of jeans you want- baggies, losers, straight or bell-bottoms etc....for instance i usually go for losers...
P.S. its not necessary to be a brandaholic coz things do work without that badge!

you height and weight have nothing to do with finding the right pair of jeans. Of most importance to finding the correct size is your waist measurement, hip measurement and the length of the inseam (measurement from the crotch to your ankle/foot). Then just look on any size chart from stores on the web. If you fall between sizes, you need to fit your largest measurement.
On me for example, my hips are one size and my waist is one size smaller. I have to fit the hips first.

u can try 1 or 2 waist sizes in the shop, then ul know ur waist size, cuming to type these days there r loads of gud colored jeans, bt they cant b worn vit too many tops.......so if u wanna wear one jeans wit many tops, u can prefer a blue or black one.......they go wel wit eny colored tops.......next is whether to chose a normal one, a skin tight or a bell bottom.........if u r very thin or a bit fat..... then bellbottom luks gud, bt if u r normal then enything is ok..........also there r jeans vit stripes n non stripes........if u r short go 4 striped ones, if u hav gud ht, enything vil do.
