Ah the Muslim world is not unified - thankfully - or we would all be in big trouble.

Islam is about being subject to the will of Allah. Some Muslims believe their goal is to bring the whole world under the will of Allah. They believe that when this is accomplished there will be peace, blessing prosperity etc. ow while Christ taught that this should be a personal thing and that people should be persuaded of their free will to choose to do God's will - Islam is happy to use temporal measures (yes later Christianity made that mistake especially after Constantine's "conversion") as well as using persuasive measures to do this. These temporal measures commonly include the imposition of Islamic law - the penalties themselves at times being fairly punitive and persuasive in their brutality . Some Muslims go a stage further though - and they believe in Islamic conquest - not all Muslims believe this though. So it is a three fold effect. Some Muslims would want to bring the world to Islam through peaceful conversion by argument. Some Muslims would go a stage further by wanting to bring Sharia (Islamic) law to effect. Other Muslims wish to do this through conquest.

So yes there is a general trend to do this - but the division in the Islamic world means there is not a single unified and co-ordinated plan to achieve this. You can't tar all Muslims with the same brush so to speak.

ETA While I was in Saudi I met many wonderful "open" Muslims, but the state would not allow the building of Christian churches or the freedom to worship any other deity but Allah. Yes not all Middle Eastern Countries are like Saudi but some Muslims would want to make them that way.

Ebb and flow:ebb and flow

We WASPS dominated the muslim world from the collapse of the Ottoman Empire till the 1950's.
We did little to remedy the grinding poverty, directly and indirectly interfered with the building of their countries. Now the chickens are coming home to roost

We have to work through this, time with patience, understanding and education.

Our own laws must be strictly enforced as the muslim culture does understand crime and punishment

Remember the Pakistanis and Bangladeshis(East Pakistanis) along with the West Indians, were invited to help us cope with a manpower shortage. We had certainly taken a lot out of their countries

The tensions within moslem society is as mch inter-generational as inter secdtarian

Our luck,to date,is the lack of central co-ordination -no MAHDI as such-forget bin Laden, few take him seriously-use hin perhaps

There is no wonder solution, just keep working at it and trust to education and prosperity

I thought it was the West that was taking over the Muslim world.. I mean isn't that wat is currently happening right now?
America waged war on Iraq.. why? I don't think there was a definitive reason.. but I sure as hell know that now that America is in Iraq that it is veryyy easy for a takeover to take place in Iran, Kuwait and/or any other Middle eastern country... hmmm..

I think u are a little paranoid..

Nope - you're not. The Koran/Quran is considered the holy book of Islam and it is the duty of all islamists to follow its teachings. The fanatic mullahs and sheiks who lead the islamic sects and mosques consider christians and jews particularly to be infidels and devils and have declared jihad or holy war on the western world. While these folks may be the extremists, their influence is surely what drives the radicals to be terrorists, human bombs etc, with the promise that if killed they will go to heaven and be met by their own harem of virgins. While the majority of the moslem world is not extremist, those that are drive the bus that is called terrorism.

heavily inspired with She devil's record. it fairly is merely to characteristic one greater: Surah 9:5 "yet while the forbidden months are previous, then combat and SLAY the Pagans [infidels] anyplace ye locate them, and grab them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in each stratagem [of conflict]." people who can examine for themselves see that Muslims are inspired to kill unbelievers below particular circumstances. it incredibly is in the Qur'an. And the historic previous of the Islamic international locations is crammed with episodes of butchering infidels, despite in case you eliminate each and all of the cases the place they have been attacked first and so have been protecting themselves.

Yes I think you are right, it's the muslim fanatics that are doing their best to destroy all things western. These people have been brainwashed by their religious teachers to attack anything non muslim. I know there are good muslims out there but why on earth are these evil ones allowed to continue their preachings on our home soil? These people are no better than Hitler.
