Anything and everything you can think of. I'm looking for objects which reflect what these concepts should be not associated with the failure to fullfill their meanings.

Humanitarianism..... A tureen for soup in a soup kitchen. An aid package in a lorry on a dirt road. A quiet room in a safe place.

Research and development...... A well equipped laboratory ~ any scientific instruments. A computer. A memory stick. A library full of books. A notebook. A bank statement. A half-finished building.

Sustainability........ A solar heating panel on a roof. A solar-powered calculator. An electric car. A row of wind turbines on a Devon tor or a Cretan hillside. A compost bin. A coppiced forest.

Business ethics...... A propaganda sheet from The Co-operative Bank. A report by a Board on Equal Opportunities policy reporting on progress in ensuring fair treatment for all minorities and mentioning that 2 board members are gay or lesbian, 1 is dyslexic, 3 are from ethnic minorities, and half are women.

Corporate social responsibility......... A cheque made out by a business to a charity. A man or woman in a McDonald's uniform with one of those litter-gathering spikes, garnering discarded McDonald's wrappers from the street. A notice on the wall of an alcohol counselling agency saying "this service is 50% funded by XYZ Brewery".

Humanitarianism - cargos of donations, food clothing etc
Research and Development - scientist looking into a microscope
Sustainability - a subsistence farmer, works to keep his family fed
Business Ethics - corporate worker with a briefcase
Coporate Social Responsibility - employees picking up litter

I know these are probably not what your looking for and are weird but its what I imagine when I think of these words.
