It was not an interesting thing. It was something which gave me a shock of my life. I eavesdropped the gossip of some ladies for whom I had great respect. They were speaking ill of me and my wife. That left me in tears. Suddenly when they realized that i heard what they had been speaking, one among them, an elderly person, became embarrassed and came round to say something soothing to me. I immediately left the place. I told them that they were entitled to their own views. But, I continue to maintain a decent relationship, with no sense of rancor or anger. Life is like that.

Probably loads of stuff when I was a kid that seemed important at the time. Now I tend not to eavesdrop as you usually get the complete wrong end of the stick!

I heard a woman accusing her husband of fooling around while she was talking on her cell phone to him. I wasn't eavesdropping. People say the most outlandish things out in public on these phones.

I wasn't really eavesdropping. I was standing behind a woman in the check-out line at a supermarket & she was on her mobile telling a friend graphic details of her night of passion.

I nearly got a chubbie.

i was eavesdropping on my neighbors screaming at eachother. They used every 4 letter word in the book. then the wife drove off in her car and peeled out down the street, while the husband yelled "take your stupid car and stupid life back to washington" and we live in texas, hehe

I was parked next to two women who were discussing an affair that one of them was having. My window was open and so was theirs. They were so engrossed in their conversation they had no idea I could hear!

I loved the moment when a gnarled and pompous woman glared at the young mother with her four-tear-old boy, after the little boy had stuck his tongue out.

"Your little boy is VERY rude," she snarled.

The mother smiled, and replied, "I know, but he's only four, and he's still learning."

I hope we make salary this week.

I sit right next to the guy who handles our paychecks. It's lost its shock value though. I hear it every other week.
