I've always been in favor of cartoon character names for big eyed monsters. Here are my fish names for some inspiration.
Tiger Loaches (helodes) - Bombshell, Shrapnell, Kickback, StarScream Dirge, Thrust (bad guys from transformers... they're real trouble makers)
Tiger Loaches (striatta) - Cuddles, Giggles, Nutty, Lumpy, Pop, Cub (from Happy Tree Friends cartoon)
Male Betta: Titus (from the shakespear mini-play... his life is tragedy)
Green Terror Couple: Bonnie & Clyde (famous couple who went on a murderous rampage)
Clown Loaches - Sid & Nancy (after the infamous punk troublemakers)
Convict Pair One - Tequila & Teresa (after the characters in the John Woo classic film Hard Boiled)
Convict Pair Two - Crash & Molly (after the Holly wrestling cousins)
