to have a myspace account even I do.
But there are people saying that is bad to
have one and dangerous...If you are a
parent would you aprove of your child having a
myspace acount these days every teenager does.!.

I generally don't agree with the fact that other people make money on my communication with my friends. It's not like a breakthrough in socializing or even networking. It just seems an extreme moneymaking party for a lot of people. I got a myspace account which I never used.
Last.fm is truly more serious and people you can find there are not at all like myspace, although it's not the same features and not quite a networking site.
Should we take socializing as a friend-count contest???

I am 17, I have myspace, live in Greece, my parents don't even know what it is but the problem is not it is dangerous for exploitation, it seems like a bad affection to our society.

Myspace is very dangerous because you have a good risk of getting a very dangerous virus that will mess up your computer. If you still want to go to Myspace then I would suggest downloading Xoftspy. Type that in search and download it. It will cost u some money but it's worth it!! Besides that you are giving people out personal info and they may want to try doing something bad to u. Just be Careful!!!

My kid has never asked but if he did, I would be very hesitant. There are lots of other ways of networking on the internet that would seem safer than myspace. But maybe that's because it has a bad rap from the media attention. Personally, I think myspace looks like a junk yard. The myspaces pages all look so cheap and ugly and loud. I don't get it.

myspace could be dangerous depending on who you talk to or seek out. for that matter the internet can be a dangerous thing depending on how its used. myspace can be a great thing. many of my friends use it to stay in touch while traveling. i have used it for that reason and it was wonderful. it has also helped me get in touch with many old friends i had no other way of contacting.

i'll admit it im not too old here... actually im not really over 18... and yes i have a myspace... my parents didnt want me to have one and i dont think they still do... it can only be harmful and dangerous if the account isnt set to private and to add then you must know their last name... also its not dangerous unless you add only the people you know...
